Septorhinoplasty
Breathing relies heavily on the internal nasal structure. Septal deviation, often from injury or hereditary conditions, can hinder nostril breathing, leading to discomfort and an imbalanced nose. Many injuries affect the septum, composed of cartilage and bone that divides the nostrils.
Septorhinoplasty is primarily focused on correcting deviated septums, effectively restoring proper nostril breathing, while additionally addressing the cosmetic concern of a deviated septum which can lead to an arched nose, consequently resulting in a procedure that enhances nasal function and aesthetically “straightens” the nasal shape.
During septorhinoplasty, bent cartilage and bone are reshaped and bone is sculpted. Incisions are discreetly made beneath the nose or inside nostrils, minimizing facial scarring that fades over time. Different methods depend on surgery extent and desired outcomes, tailored by your surgeon.
Post-surgery, two weeks’ rest, avoiding intense activity, crowds, and hot baths, is advised. Recovery times vary, but normal activities resume in 2-3 weeks. Swelling gradually recedes over months, with significant reduction after three weeks.

Face Lift
The skin on and around the face and neck is extremely exposed and susceptible to the signs of aging. Wrinkles and sagging skin of the forehead, brows, eyes and neck can result in a sad and tired appearance.
A rhytidectomy, commonly known as a facelift, is a broad approach to fixing the signs of aging, sun damage or thinning skin. A full rhytidectomy is performed when individual procedures like a brow lift or neck lift will not result in the patient’s desired appearance. During a face lift, excess skin is removed underlying tissue and muscles are tightened.
While the methods used during a face lift vary depending on the amount of excess skin and desired result, incisions are usually made along the hairline and under the chin, so scarring will be hidden and fade with time. During your consult, your surgeon will provide the best face lift options that will allow you to realistically achieve your desired appearance.
Although recovery time varies among individuals, patients can expect a full recovery within 2-4 weeks after surgery.
